Kanu Nwankwo took over the reins from veteran administrator Felix Anyansi-Agu earlier this year, aiming to revamp the nine-time NPFL champions. Under his leadership, Enyimba has secured significant multimillionaire sponsorship deals, showcasing a commitment to rebranding.
Despite off-pitch advancements, Enyimba encountered challenges on-field, notably falling short of the group stage in the CAF Champions League and facing disappointment in the inaugural African Football League. Kanu’s dedication remains steadfast as he works towards elevating the club’s performance and stature.
