Vincent Desmond, a freelance journalist, confirmed Fola’s demise in a statement issued on Friday, expressing deep sorrow over the loss.
He highlighted Fola’s role as a beacon of hope and light for many, announcing plans for a memorial service at a later date while requesting privacy for the family and friends during this difficult time.
