On Boxing Day, a tragic auto crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway resulted in the loss of two lives and left six others injured, as confirmed by Mrs. Florence Okpe, spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State.
The accident involved a Toyota bus carrying eight passengers and was attributed to over-speeding, leading to the driver losing control of the vehicle.
According to Okpe, the vehicle collided with a road barrier due to excessive speed and lack of control.
The injured individuals received immediate medical attention at a hospital in Mowe, Ogun State, while the deceased have been taken to the morgue.
